Seeking a Treatment Center? San Bernardino’s Cedar House Offers Effective Support Programs

If you are struggling with addiction and are ready for a change, we invite you to explore the therapeutic options available with Cedar House.

At our treatment center—San Bernardino-based and within close proximity to Riverside and Fontana—you will find a team of professionals, a supportive environment, and a peaceful setting to do the work of recovery.

More than a traditional rehab center, San Bernardino residents turn to Cedar House for a variety of drug and alcohol treatment options. Each of our programs is based on best practices in clinical treatment and is designed to help participants at every stage of recovery.

About Cedar House

Cedar House is dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering from chemical dependency. We provide evidence-based, high-quality therapeutic clinical support, and all of our services are licensed and certified by the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs.

Our facility has been assisting people throughout Southern California since 1973, helping participants make a true change in their lives. At our treatment center, San Bernardino men and women can take part in either inpatient or outpatient programs. We offer transitional living, ongoing support for alumni of our program, and specialized care for pregnant women and women who have children.

Making Connections that Matter: Local Resources, Community, and Family

Cedar House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that serves the local community and beyond. Our treatment center has created strong relationships with San Bernardino hospitals and clinicians, helping extend our reach to those in need. These connections have made us one of the region’s foremost providers of substance abuse and mental health services.

Our programs, support groups, and therapeutic curricula are so successful because we involve our participants in the Cedar House community. Turning away from addiction and connecting with something beyond the self is essential to the recovery process. We develop community through staff engagement; group therapy; social activities; and communal living. The community connections that participants form is one reason so many of them are able to continue sobriety after they have left our facility.

Family members are often a part of this process. When they take part in group therapy, they begin to understand the issues at work in the participant’s addiction. They may also come to realize unhealthy dynamics in their own lives, and family members may choose to participate in individual therapy. As a result of this treatment, Cedar House participants have the opportunity to address their addictions while repairing family relationships that can help them to stay sober.
