Dual Diagnosis



Cedar House specializes in helping those who suffer from substance abuse and mental health disorders. Cedar House has been perfecting this specialized treatment since 1993.

Our dual diagnosis program is designed to help dually diagnosed individuals gain a better understanding of the correlation between the effects of chemical dependency and psychiatric disorders. Dual diagnosis discussion groups educate the client concerning various mental disorders through the use of evidence based curriculum.

Clientele participate in coping skills groups and learn the importance of medication compliance and open communication with their psychiatrist and clinical staff.

Participants are introduced to, and learn the importance of Dual Diagnosis Anonymous self-help groups and family participation in the National Alliance of Mentally Ill (NAMI).
